‘Rehema,’ Swahili for ‘compassion’ or ’empathy’ is named after our daughter. She was given the name by Matemwe villagers when she lived here during a 3-month power blackout across the whole of Zanzibar. Fun times – which we hope you will not experience!
The room hosts a large, comfortable double bed, with a day bed to lounge on. It has its own ensuite bathroom with electric water heater. We don’t have AC, but there is a fan and the room faces the sea. The Wifi works well in the room, and across the property. As our guests the house will also be all yours to enjoy.
